The Dark Side

In the early months of 2024, Stephanie began to think about what it might be like to start a podcast, primarily focusing on true crime cases that were local to her area. Eventually, because of one case in particular, she decided to give it a go.

But when she approached her sister with the idea, her sister suggested someone else be the co-host. That's how Erin got involved.

As the months wore on and Stephanie worked to build a repertoire of cases to cover, something began to occur to her. Ultimately, she and Erin decided that it would be more impactful to do a podcast that didn't just focus on true crime—instead, they thought it would be a unique and necessary thing to discuss all social justice issues.  And by the end of 2024, the podcast had officially morphed into a moderately political social justice podcast, with Social Justice Warriors Erin and Stephanie at the helm.
